Many Hands Volunteer Expo

The Many Hands Volunteer Expo was a joint project with the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, under the Investing in Rural Community Futures program.

Meeting like-minded people, researching volunteer opportunities, and changing the world were all made possible by the 'Many Hands Volunteer Expo.'

The Volunteer Expo, which took place on the 25th of May, during National Volunteer Week, highlighted the wide variety of regional organisations in the Bega Valley that are eager to accept new volunteers.

A wide range of ages attended the event in good numbers, and there was something of interest for most of them thanks to the more than 30 groups that represented a variety of volunteering options.

At the SoS Stand, Chrissy and Trish struck up several pleasant discussions with passersby. Consequently, we now have new volunteers who have teamed up to help our organisation.

It was also very entertaining to play the game "Bingo," which generated a lot of discussion and participation.

We are appreciative that we were able to participate in this fantastic event and we look forward to being involved again next year.
